Challenging Assumptions, Rugs from the Villages of Hamadan.

Our exhibit and sale of the 75 Hamadan village rugs illustraded in Tad's book has ended. Mostof the rugs now go to Brattleboro, Vermont for a follow up exhibit entitled:

One Women One Weft, Rugs from the village of Hamadan.

This exhibit should continue our goal of challenging any of our previously held assumptions that Hamadan Village rugs are Mediocre. Come see great natural colors, lustrous wool and wonderfully imaginative, often folksy, designed rugs.

The exhibit and sale opens at 5pm on Friday the 6th of September in the gallieries of Candle in the night, 181 Main Street, Brattleboro, Vermont. It will run the month of September. Fot more information call 802-257-0471.
